When America’s foremost cowboy poet and NPR commentator, Baxter Black, declared that it’s practically illegal to publish poetry in the United States, the Salty Bard took up the pen and created The Salty Bard pirate poetry project, a collection of seagoing, taboo poetry; pirate poetry – the verse of the sailor.

 The growing collection includes, “Aboard the Charles W Morgan,”  “Boundless Sea,”  “Sailor’s Dream,” and more.
